We had fantastic service today at our visit to Outback Jacks Maitland. We were waited on by Jen (the chef) and she was amazing! Just like the service, the food was incredible and they were huge serves! My grandmother Was overjoyed at how great the mains were presented and how they tasted! We will definitely back to dine again!

It was empty bar one table at 7.30pm on a Saturday night that should of been the 1st clue. It was well below average for a steak house. Would not recommend. The staff were friendly and did there job. Cook looked very dirty and untidy.

This place is a favourite for my daughter. She loves the Ribs. The steaks are ok, although on one occassion the meat was a lttle tough even though it was cooked medium rare. Overall the experience was great and the staff looked after you.

Rather bad dining experience, the garlic bread was under cooked and before we were even halfway through entree our mains came out. Steaks were overcooked but had not been rested before being plated, which meant the undercooked chips they were sat on had soaked up all the blood and juices from the steak. My steak had a huge mass of unrendred congealed white fat on the side, that looked like it hadn't even seen the hot plate. Over all a very unsatisfied customer who has eaten at outback jacks in numerous locations and never had these issues. When management was informed they basically just apologized and said the chef must be having an off night certainly not good enough considering that all aspects of the meal failed.
